The Top Five Droids in Star Wars

What would Star Wars be without its droids? C-3PO and R2-D2 were really the first characters to be introduced to audiences way back in 1977 and I have loved them ever since I first saw them in The Phantom Menace. Now even more droids have been created and the list of incredibly cool (and funny) droids just keeps expanding. These are, however, my five favorite droids in Star Wars.

The Best Lightsaber Duels in Star Wars Ranked from Worst to Best

I love Star Wars for so many reasons and one of those reasons is the lightsaber duels. When I was a little girl I remember watching Revenge of the Sith and The Phantom Menace and then taking my Star Wars toys and remaking those lightsaber battles in my own little way. It was so much fun to not only watch but to also reenact. And then I got a little older and I finally saw the original trilogy and those lightsaber battles were less flashy but all the more incredible. That’s why when Rogue One was coming out I was a little worried, I’m not gonna lie.

There had never been, up to that point, a Star Wars movie that didn’t have at least one Jedi or Sith and at least one lightsaber duel. Now, of course, Darth Vader did cause some serious carnage at the end of the film with a lightsaber but that doesn’t count. His victims were helpless, they had absolutely no way to defend themselves. This post is about actual duels between two individuals with lightsabers. I’ll also only be ranking the duels in the movies. So on that note, let me start.

The Top 7 Coolest Female Superheroes of Marvel, So Far

There are a lot of superheroes spread across Marvel and Dc Comics and, unsurprisingly, most of them are men. There are, however, the female superheroes who help protect the world and stamp their awesomeness in a male-dominated genre. Now, just to let you know, I won’t be ranking any female characters off of the various Marvel tv shows simply because…I don’t watch them. So since that’s out of the way let me start ranking

7. Nebula

Nebula, once villain turned hero, is undoubtedly a cool character. The fact that she’s half robot is fascinatingly different and she just simply looks cool. Her story, thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, has also made her much more important in the imminent event of facing Thanos. I read somewhere that in an early draft of the first Guardians of the Galaxy she was going to die at first. I’m so glad they changed that.

A Revelation About Rey

So I have just recently finished reading Star Wars: Bloodline which was so good by the way. This book is set, I think, six years before The Force Awakens and is focused solely on Leia and what she was doing at that time. Not only was it fun reading about that time period and all of its political struggles and so forth in the galaxy but it also gave me one of the largest hints about Rey that I’ve gotten in the last twenty months and I’m so excited to share it with you.

5 Things I Would Love To See in The Last Jedi

The Last Jedi is drawing closer by the second and that means my skepticism about the movie is expectedly heightening. Now, I have no doubt The Last Jedi is going to be enjoyable but it does have to broach some topics or include some moments that’ll make the movie worth this long wait. Here are those things.

1. Luke and Leia’s Reunion

Luke and Leia haven’t seen each other for a very, very long time. I think not only would be a great moment, story-wise but to see Luke and Leia together again after all of these years would not only be beautiful but would also probably be one of my favorite┬ámoments of the movie. I’m pretty sure it would be very emotional too. Woo, I can just imagine my tears flowing already.

The cool thing is in the special Vanity Fair issue that came out earlier this year it had a picture of Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill speaking with Kathleen Kennedy. That could only mean that they did happen to film some scenes together and that means there will be a reunion. I’m really hoping there is.

The Last Jedi Has Revealed Two More Vehicles That Will Blow Your Mind

It’s getting close to the time when LucasFilm will start ramping up advertising and with advertising comes new tidbits from the movie. Well, yesterday two new vehicles that are going to appear in The Last Jedi have been shown and I think they’re pretty awesome.
