Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! The teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story just dropped. Here it is.
Okay, okay, this teaser was…AWESOME!!!!!!! I don’t know what to say other than Disney has taken Star Wars to a whole other level. I’ll talk about the trailer in greater detail tomorrow but until then enjoy this teaser. It is legitimately epic!
Anakin Skywalker is one of my least favorite Star Wars characters but he is a major character considering that he ends up becoming Darth Vader and so there’s no way I can have this defining moments segment without him being a part of it. And so here are the defining moments of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Enjoy!
1. Winning The Buunta Eve Podrace
Most of the major Star Wars characters’ stories have really begun when they’re young adults but Anakin’s journey began when he was just nine-years-old. The Buunta Eve Podrace was a defining moment for the young hero because if he hadn’t won that race he would’ve remained on Tatooine and wouldn’t have gone to become one of the greatest Jedi in history…and eventually Darth Vader. It also highlighted how powerful he already was with the Force and that’s very impressive.
2. Destroying the Trade Federation Ship
Like I said before, Anakin was only nine years old and he was already displaying how abnormally gifted he was at that young age. I mean he saved Naboo by blowing up the Trade Federation Ship as a young child who hadn’t even gotten into the double digits of his age yet. This highlighted how great of a pilot he already was and it showcased the heroics he would display many more times after that.
3. The First Kiss
I’m not a huge fan in the slightest of Anakin and Padme’s love story but it was a defining chapter in Anakin’s life. I mean if it wasn’t for that first kiss the two shared on Naboo Luke and Leia would’ve never come to fruition so, whatever.
4. The Death of Anakin’s Mother
Throughout Attack of the Clones Anakin was plagued with nightmares of his mother dying and it haunted him during the first half of the movie. When he eventually couldn’t handle it anymore and went to rescue her it was too late and he had to endure watching her die in his arms. It was a turning point for him because it was the first time he allowed darkness to consume him and fill with him boundless rage and it shook his trust in the Jedi. Unfortunately, because it was the prequels, this sequence didn’t provide the emotional impact that it should have but oh well.

For weeks and weeks I have been wondering where is this Solo trailer?! It seemed like it was going to debut for the past couple of weeks in a row but it never did, leaving me disappointed and skeptical about this movie’s chances of even being good. Well, the wait is almost over. Tomorrow on Good Morning America we will be given a first look at Solo: A Star Wars Story via trailer and I am so excited! At one time I would’ve been kind of scared to see this trailer but thanks to LucasFilm and Disney withholding it for so long now I am officially excited to hear any news about the second standalone Star Wars film. I think they’ve done a Jedi mind trick on me. Lol.
So, anyway, yeah the trailer’s finally coming out tomorrow and I can’t wait to discuss all of its hopefully awesome details. Until then thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day. May the Force Be With You.
