The Four Best Deleted Scenes of ‘The Last Jedi’

Yesterday I got the Blu-Ray for The Last Jedi and immediately proceeded to watch the fourteen deleted scenes that came with it. While they were all enjoyable four of the deleted scenes really stood out to me and I’m here to share them with you. Enjoy!

Rey Goes to “Save” The Caretakers

Thanks to The Last Jedi novel I already knew about this scene where Rey goes to save the Caretakers from “raiders” seeking to plunder the Caretakers’ village but seeing it in motion was really enjoyable. It showcased Rey in a different light than her other scenes in the movie because she was at her most, I’d say, heroic but it was also startling to witness because she was also very much enthralled with the dark side during this scene. I mean she was so angry and that anger fueled her strength during this part.

I wonder if this is a kind of precursor to a fault she might face in Episode IX. She is very protective of the people she loves or cares about and what if she was faced with a choice; turn to the dark side and save your friends or remain with the light and lose them. I have a feeling she wouldn’t hesitate to turn to the dark side if it meant the survival of her friends. Uh-oh.

First of all, I love the new version of Thor with his short hair and eye patch so it’s awesome seeing him. Secondly, it’s the Guardians of the Galaxy! Woo! I mean I would’ve never thought I would see a team-up as cool as Thor and the Guardians but now that it’s here and hopefully here to stay I can’t be happier.
