Which X-Men Characters Should Be Brought To The MCU?

Since Disney bought Fox my mind has been racing with the possibilities of a X-Men/Avengers crossover and even though that might not completely come to fruition I definitely think that Marvel Studios should take this opportunity to do what they did with Spider-Man and bring some awesome X-Men superheroes to the MCU. But which X-Men characters? While I don’t know much about the X-Men there are a few characters that I really do like and that I think would be very cool additions to the MCU. I’m going to list them here and I hope you enjoy!

I don’t know much about Beast but I do know this, he’s always been one of my favorite X-Men characters. His skills are very, very impressive and I think it would be really interesting to see this character become part of the MCU. I mean, can you imagine Spider-Man or Black Panther conversing with this incredibly unique looking character? It would definitely be interesting to watch. And another thing that makes this so perfect is that in certain comic books he becomes part of The Avengers so that’s just another excuse to bring him into the MCU.

Jean Grey

Jean Grey is one of the most prominent X-Men characters (I know this because even though I don’t know anything about the X-Men I know who Jean Grey is) and I think it would be rather exciting to bring her to the MCU. Now, some of her abilities are rather similar to Scarlet Witch so that might not be a great idea to bring her into the fold but I think it would still be awesome to see her fighting alongside The Avengers.

Cyclops has always been one of my favorite superheroes because of his incredible eye beam ability. He’s also a younger character which means he’ll be perfect for this younger era of superheroes the MCU is trying to introduce. Shuri and Cyclops fighting side by side would be quite the dynamic duo and I think he would be a great addition to the MCU.

I remember seeing Storm as a little girl a few times and I was ultimately entranced by this character. Not only had I, at that time, never seen a female superhero before but she was also a black female superhero! I was absolutely stunned by how cool she was and she instantly became my favorite superhero for a long while. Storm, in certain comics, was part of King T’Challa’s story as his girlfriend. Of course, that wouldn’t happen in the actual movies (because of his current love interest, Nakia) but wouldn’t it be awesome for Black Panther 2 to introduce Storm, this African princess, to the MCU? I would be positively ecstatic if they did that. I think Storm is one of the coolest superheroes to ever be created and it would be a shame if Marvel doesn’t capitalize on bringing her into their incredible franchise.

And last but not least Wolverine should be brought to the MCU. There’s already been a lot of conversation surrounding the idea of Wolverine joining The Avengers. Chris Hemsworth even went far enough to say that he would love to see Wolverine and Thor fight alongside each other. The only problem is Hugh Jackman has played the character for so long I honestly can’t imagine the character being played by anyone else but if anyone is going to remake the iconic X-Men superhero it’ll be the MCU, for they have some of the best casting of any of these franchises. And it would be rather cool to have Wolverine part of the MCU, especially that there aren’t any characters like him. Let’s hope Marvel Studios actually does follow along with this idea. *thumbs up*

So these are the X-Men characters that I would love to see become part of the MCU. I’m sure there are many other X-Men superheroes that would be great additions to the MCU but these are the characters in the top running for me. I thank you for reading and I hope you have a splendid day.
