The Title for the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Sequel Has Been Revealed

Tom Holland is known to drop major spoilers here and there and it seems like he’s done it again. As he responded to his fans on Instagram the other day he slipped the title of the upcoming Spider-Man sequel and I’m here to share it with you. Here it is. Spider-Man: Far from Home.

This title isn’t very telling which is a good thing because you don’t want to be able to predict the entire concept of a movie just through its name but it definitely is interesting. To some the title, Far from Home, can easily be referred to Peter Parker getting stuck somewhere in the galaxy participating in a wild adventure. But if Mysterio (Jake Gyleenhaal) has already been confirmed that he’s going to be the main villain in this upcoming sequel then maybe it will be a prequel after all. Maybe it’ll be a story featuring Peter Parker in another continent making more friends and helping to save the world,. That’ll be cool.

Whatever the case, the title has been revealed and now it’s only a matter of time before the title for Avengers 4 is finally released.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

  1. I agree with you, Annlyel, the title does sound interesting! This new title seems like it correlates with the first film’s title: Spiderman: Homecoming. I think that Spiderman: Far from Home could be seen in a figurative sense. For instance, the title, Spiderman: Homecoming, was, to me, representing the idea that Spiderman was “coming home” to Marvel (even though the movie rights still belong to Sony). Maybe the sequel will be about Spiderman/Peter Parker growing up into adulthood?
