The Twitter Reactions for ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ Are Off the Chain!

Marvel has delivered two of the best superhero films ever made this year with the already iconic Black Panther and the record-breaking Avengers: Infinity War. Now their last installment of the year, Ant-Man and the Wasp, is set to burst into theaters next Friday and I honestly have felt a little skeptical about the movie. After Infinity War I couldn’t imagine this Ant-Man sequel possibly being better than the third Avengers film but that actually may come to pass as the twitter reactions are out and they are booming. Here they are.

I like the sound of this tweet. The best Marvel films are the ones that are left, creatively, to the directors and the writers. Take Guardians of the GalaxyBlack PantherThor: Ragnarok, those films have their own personal flair and that’s why they’re so great. You can tell those movies are part of the MCU but they are given the chance to operate in their own corner of the universe and that’s awesome.

Another positive account that reveals how fabulous this movie is going to be.

It’s nice to hear that Ant-Man and the Wasp didn’t suffer from sequel syndrome.

It seems like Brandon Davis had a lot to say about how much he loved this movie. What struck me the most was that he compared it to The Winter Soldier which ended up becoming my favorite Marvel film only recently dethroned by Black Panther. If Ant-Man and the Wasp is anywhere near as good as The Winter Soldier this movie is going to be a BLAST!

I can’t wait to see what the Stan Lee cameo is. 🙂

One thing I love is a funny Marvel movie. Surprisingly, Avengers: Infinity War was one of the funniest Marvel films I’ve seen but simply Ant-Man himself is comic relief. I’m sure the movie is going to be hilarious.

And finally, this last tweet that I’m going to share with you excites me the most because post-credits scene have become such an important staple to the MCU. They lead you into the next film with a hint of what’s to come and as the years have gone by and the story has gotten better those hints have become all the more interesting. Ooh, I’m SO excited!

I have to admit, I didn’t like Ant-Man that much and overall it wasn’t received with glowing praise. It has a 7.3/10 score on IMDB and its Rotten Tomatoes Score garnered an 82% rating. It was one of Marvel’s mediocre installments and while it’s a great matinee film it just didn’t obtain that pizzazz other Marvel films did. Well, it seems like its sequel won’t have that problem.

If you had any skepticism about the movie’s chances of being good I’m sure these twitter reactions will have somewhat changed your mind as they have mine. Now. of course, these tweets may praise the movie splendidly but major disparities between critics’ views of movies and casual moviegoers opinions of those same films have been seen before. Take The Last Jedi for example. Critics gave The Last Jedi a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes but the Audience Score ended up being a shocking 46% rating.

You see, critics might love Ant-Man and the Wasp while regular viewers might not like it as much. But with Marvel it’s pretty safe to assume that the movie is going to be awesome and I can’t wait to see it.

I hope these twitter reactions excited you as much as they have excited me and I thank you for reading. Have a fantastic day.
