Here Are Ten Movies That Have Made Me Cry Like a Baby

As you can see from my blog I am a HUGE movie fan. I love all genres of movies. Action, adventure, horror, drama, comedy, romance; you name it. If it’s good I will watch it. And while there are plenty of astounding films that have rocked my world over the years there are always those few standout movies that have taken my emotions to other places. And those, usually, are the best films. If you watch a movie and at the end find yourself in a river of tears that movie has effected you in ways you won’t soon forget. So, here are the ten movies that have made for me the definition “waterworks” an understatement.

I’ve seen a lot of children’s movies in my time and there are quite a few that I have grown to love but I have never seen a children’s film as perfectly constructed as this one in my life.

I watched this movie a long time ago in 2010 but I had completely forgotten nearly everything about the film. One day I was watching Freeform and when it came on I decided to watch it for only the second time in my life. Oh my goodness, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into.

This movie had me crying so many times I couldn’t believe it. I was crying at the beginning, I was weeping in the middle, and I was utterly balling at the end. This is easily the best children’s movie I have ever watched by a landslide.

Who’s Your Favorite ‘Star Wars’ Duo?

Star Wars is a wonderful franchise that has captured the hearts of millions of fans around the world and part of the reason why is because of the characters. Without those incredible heroes like Luke and Rey or the memorable villains, Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, these movies wouldn’t be half as entertaining as they are now.

Throughout the years there have been incredible character duos in Star Wars that have made the movies so much more fun to watch and today they are part of my weekly segment of Who’s Your Favorite? Here are all of the Star Wars duos (this is solely based on the movies.)

Finn and Rey

Finn and Rey have had quite the journey through the trilogy so far. In fact, their individual journeys ended up leading them apart for the majority of The Last Jedi. But when they are together it’s like a match made in heaven.

Before we were reacquainted with Han Solo and Chewbacca in The Force Awakens we were following the stories of youngsters Finn and Rey and they were so immediately lovable I didn’t even miss the Star Wars veterans. Their friendship is part of the reason why I love The Force Awakens so much and I can’t wait to see them have more time together in Episode IX.

This Description of ‘Episode IX’ from Oscar Isaac Sounds Amazing

Episode IX is of course on top secret mode until it premieres next year in movie theaters around the world but that doesn’t mean the actors aren’t talking about it. As Star Wars star, Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) goes through publicity for his latest movie, Operation Finale, questions of Episode IX are sure to arise and this time he had a little bit to tell us. Here is what he said.

“It is a war movie. I mean, above and beyond, it is a movie about warriors.”

This next section is about his standing with his character, the Resistance leader, Poe Dameron.

“You want to get people [to question him] as opposed to have some sort of easy answer of like, ‘Yeah, yeah, he did the right thing. He was a hero.’ What’s the cost of this stuff?”

And this next section is easily the most interesting part.

“[The Resistance] are guerrilla fighters, adhering closer to something like the Revolutionary War fighters or even the guerrillas in Cuba with Che and Fidel and all these guys living in the mountains, coming down to do some attacks, and going back and trying to hide from the ’empire’ of the United States. It’s that kind of ragged at this point.

You hear about stories with [George] Washington as a general, where lots of people died based on their orders, but that is part of leadership and that push-and-pull in the fight for figuring out what’s the way to move forward.”
