If you’ve been following my blog you know that every Monday after the premiere of an episode of Star Wars: Resistance I have written a review of that particular episode. And, if you are familiar with those reviews most of the times they haven’t been exactly pleasant.
Star Wars: Resistance is catered to a younger audience which I am totally okay with but I don’t think that should justify the show for being highly unentertaining. I have, however, followed the story diligently and have patiently the restart of the first season.
The first episode is supposed to premiere this Sunday in the United States and while I wasn’t excited at first I’m rather thrilled to watch it after this trailer. Here’s the trailer.
I honestly wasn’t even going to watch the trailer but I’m so glad I did because it’s kind of amazing, from beginning to end. If this trailer is any indication of what’s to come Star Wars: Resistance is going to get a lot more interesting real soon and I. Can’t. Wait!
Seeing General Hux telling the First Order his raging speech just before the destruction of the New Republic highlights that the second half of this first season will eventually reach the timeline during The Force Awakens. That is an exciting prospect indeed because the second season will probably feature these characters in the timeline during the events of The Last Jedi…and beyond?
Who knows where this story is heading exactly but I’m ready to be taken along for the ride.
How has your view of Star Wars: Resistance changed after seeing this trailer? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.
