Heck Yeah! The First Trailer for ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ Has Arrived

Before I talk about this new trailer let me give you a quick history of my relationship with the Fast and Furious franchise. I had never watched the Fast and Furious films until I saw the last hour or so of Furious Seven on HBO one day. I wasn’t a fan at all. Then The Fate of the Furious came out, I didn’t go see it in the movies, but I did watch it when it was available for rent. I wasn’t expecting to like the movie at all but after about forty minutes I realized that the movie was actually kind of good. By the time the film had reached its conclusion I was beaming with joy and clapping elatedly. And part of the reason why I enjoyed the film so much was that of Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw. Their unlikely bromance was hilarious to observe and even though I hadn’t seen the previous seven films I still completely understood the rivalry.

When it was announced that there would be a spinoff focusing on solely them as the film’s protagonists I was so excited and finally! the trailer is here. Check it out.

This trailer was everything that I expected, and more. The action looks phenomenal! The humor seems legitimately hilarious. And Idris Elba definitely looks like a convincingly tough villain.

All in all, this film is set to come out on August 2 and I can’t wait to see it in IMAX. It’s going to be AWESOME!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

My Version of The Last Jedi: Chapter Nine

Seven Days on Ahch-To

Days passed before Rey was able to speak with Luke again.

The day that she had told him the awful news she had let him be, choosing to stay in the Millennium Falcon and communicate with the Resistance.

She asked about Finn’s condition. He still hadn’t woken. But she did learn that General Leia was planning to move the Resistance to a new base that would hopefully be secure from the First Order’s probing eyes.

On the first day after reaching Ahch-To she went to talk with Luke. She climbed the long staircase until she reached the small village where the Jedi master resided. It was easy to locate his hut thanks to the fact that it was the only establishment with tools she supposed he used around Ahch-To out front.

She knocked on the door and when he didn’t reply she left, instead electing to explore the island.
