Rey’s Questions

Luke was meditating, his eyes closed tightly and the calm breeze barely ruffling his greying brown hair. He could hear the waves crashing against the rocks at the base of the cliff he sat upon. Could smell the salty air. The Porgs squawked, flying overhead. And the rising sun warmed his bones, causing a small smile to touch his lips.

And then he felt the young woman named Rey approaching. Her mind was roiling with emotion and her breathing was steady but heavy. His eyes opened.

“Master Skywalker?”

He looked to his right and found Rey gazing down at him. As he stared at her at that moment he couldn’t help but feel that he knew her, somehow. He had noticed her familiarity a couple of days ago and now he couldn’t shake the idea that he had seen her before. But how? This woman was from Jakku, a planet he had only been to once before. And he was pretty confident in knowing that he had never met her before.

Still, he couldn’t shake the feeling that he knew exactly who she was.

The ‘Dune’ Reboot Is Stacked to the Rafters With Talent

I’ve never watched Dune from the 80s’ but I’ve heard that it’s a pretty good movie. And an old good movie can’t go dormant for very long before it becomes rebooted. Well, Dune is the next classic film in line that is being refashioned for modern audiences and I have to say, I’m excited.

Over the past week the cast for this film has become more and more tantalizing and now I’m brimming with intrigue for this film. Just look at this cast!
