It’s not going to be long before we get to see who takes home the awards this Sunday night and I’m having such a fun time predicting the winners of the various categories. Today I’m looking at the potential victors for the categories featuring Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Song. Enjoy!

Best Original Screenplay:

The Favourite

The Favourite is a fascinating original tale of the turbulent backstories of the British royals. While I haven’t seen the film it definitely stands out as an instant film of intrigue. Here’s the synopsis.

In early 18th century England, a frail Queen Anne occupies the throne and her close friend, Lady Sarah, governs the country in her stead. When a new servant, Abigail, arrives, her charm endears her to Sarah.

It definitely sounds rather interesting.
