The Secret Message
Poe Dameron hurried down a hall in the Preeminence. Finn, BB-8, and newcomer Rose were trailing him. Finn wanted to send Rey a message but that was going to be difficult in the circumstances. If Admiral Sterk caught them they would be in a lot of trouble and the last thing Poe needed to find out was Sterk’s sternness.
That’s why, as he turned a corner, and found Sterk walking toward him, his heart pounded in his chest. She nodded at him cordially. And then she noticed his expression of surprise and her eyes narrowed.
“Commander Dameron,” she said. Her gaze shifted to Finn and Rose behind him. “Is something wrong?”
Poe took a sidelong glance at Finn and Rose. Finn looked relatively calm but Rose seemed taken aback. He began to smile to make everything seem normal but he knew Sterk wasn’t buying it by her suspicious stare.
“Oh, everything’s fine.” He waved at Finn and Rose. “You go on ahead. I’ll catch up with you all later.”

I love Avengers: Infinity War. I have watched it countless times and found a way to enjoy it with every viewing. Avengers: Endgame is coming out in two months (thank the maker) and so as we grow closer to the event of the year I’m trying to find hidden references or tantalizing easter eggs that’ll maybe give a hint toward the events of Endgame.
In my latest viewing of Infinity War, the scene involving Doctor Strange’s time travel hit me because of its striking importance.
Doctor Strange foresaw 14, 000, 605 possible futures and only one version of the future saw them winning the fight against Thanos. While that would seem heartening the expression on Strange’s face says it all.
He knows what is going to happen and judging from the look he’s wearing it’s not going to be good. We think the worst has happened due to Thanos’s Infinity Snap but there is much more hardship coming and it’s going to be a doozy. Beloved heroes are going to die and this time they won’t be the subject of imminent resurrection.
This scene, while simple, is hands down, in my opinion, the single most important moment in Infinity War. And while we won’t completely understand the importance of this scene until we watch Endgame I’m sure there will be a day when looking back, this moment will be even more chilling than it is now.
Oh, and by the way, Tony Stark is so doomed. The way Doctor Strange looks at him as if he can see the very moment in time when he will perish is frightening (and saddening) indeed.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day.
