A Six-Year Poster Evolution: Nebula

Nebula is one of the coolest characters in the MCU because her role in the franchise has increased over time. In Guardians of the Galaxy she seemed like a simple villain but it soon became apparent that Nebula would turn out to be way more important than first conceived. Now she’s on a mission to avenge her sister, making her one of the characters I’m most excited to see in Avengers: Endgame.

So, in preparation for her role in Endgame, here are her posters.

Guardians of the Galaxy

First off, I am utterly astounded to see that Nebula has her own character poster for Guardians of the Galaxy. And it’s a cool poster too. We get a full-length look at her awesome purple outfit (I love purple) and with the swords, it’s immediately clear that she is a warrior. Great poster!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Nebula returns in her character poster for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 looking as stern as ever. Nebula has never been the smiling type and I love that about her. And the new red Ravager coat looks fantastic on her by the way.

Avengers: Infinity War

In this poster, Nebula is looking madder and cooler than ever. She still got the Ravager outfit but now we see she’s got herself a gun on her hip along with her patented sword in hand. While we didn’t get to see her use her new gun in Infinity War it still makes her look pretty cool.

Avengers: Endgame

And this final poster is the most emotionally impactful because Nebula’s expression is just…sad. In the previous three posters, she has looked either angry or stern but now her very expression expresses the tragedy of Thanos’s lethal mission. Oh, I hope she ends up prevailing against Thanos and saving Gamora. I think I would definitely cry my eyes out if that happened.

The character I will highlight tomorrow will be Vision. I’m so excited!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have an amazing day.
