A few years ago I knew nothing about Black Panther. Now I can’t imagine the world without him or the land that he originates from, Wakanda. Losing Black Panther in Infinity War was definitely VERY shocking and…I’m just waiting to see him return. Today on the final day of this series, we look back at his individual character posters since his debut in the MCU. Enjoy!
Captain America: Civil War
T’Challa looks like he’s looking for revenge on this poster. But can you blame him? He loved his father King T’Chaka. To lose him in the way that he did is definitely gutwrenching. I loved that his introduction into the MCU was an extensive one and I can’t wait to see his story continue in the future.
Black Panther
There is an entire story happening within this poster. The bowed head symbolizes his sorrow for learning the terrible truth that his father had tried to keep secret and realizing the horrible consequences of that secret in the creation of Erik Killmonger; his revenge-stricken cousin. The claws symbolize the clear fact that he will be forced to fight but his solemn expression hints at his sadness to have to resort to the violent act.
As you can probably tell, I love this poster.
Avengers: Infinity War
Black Panther is now King of Wakanda and his stance says as much. He leisurely sits but he is clad in armor, signaling that he is undoubtedly ready for war.
Avengers: Endgame
Deceased due to The Snap, T’Challa can no longer protect the nation that he loves so much. Sad, oh so sad.
So, these are his four character posters. Next, for my final post for this series, I will focus on the hero who started it all; Iron Man. I can’t wait for you to read it.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.
