Ranking All of the Christopher Nolan Movies I’ve Seen; from least Favorite to Favorite

Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite director/writers in Hollywood. His movies have fascinated me over the years with their bold storytelling, trippy concepts, and dazzling plot twists that have managed to make each of his films that I have seen not only extremely enjoyable but very memorable as well. Now, after watching The Prestige for the first time last week, I’ve decided to write a post ranking all of the Christopher Nolan films that I have seen so far. Enjoy!

7. The Dark Knight Rises

I love The Dark Knight trilogy. They are easily some of the best superhero movies ever made with complex storylines and fascinating characters played by brilliant actors. Unfortunately, The Dark Knight Rises was a bit too eloquent for its own good. With a two hour and forty-four-minute runtime, this film drags along, slowly building up to a mediocre final confrontation between the good guys versus the bad guys. While the movie is still better than most films it’s nowhere near as good as its two predecessors or the other Christopher Nolan movies. Hence, it’s my least favorite.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ Hulk Smashes Box Office Records This Weekend

Avengers: Endgame was expected to shatter box-office records and to potentially make a billion dollars in its opening weekend. It ended up making more than that with $1.2 billion! dollars, absolutely devastating any box-office records in the past.

Infinity War barely managed to surpass The Force Awakens‘s record with $257.7 million dollars in its opening weekend but Endgame DESTROYED that by making $350 million dollars this past weekend. And overseas in China, it made $330.5 million in its opening weekend, barreling past its past box-office records.

Avengers: Endgame, in one weekend, has made more money than nearly every single Harry Potter film, excluding Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which it will probably exceed in the next couple of days. It’s made more money than The Dark Knight trilogy, nearly every Star Wars movie except for The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. Basically, Avengers: Endgame has made more money than most movies have ever made in a single weekend!

The question is, can this momentum continue and lead Avengers: Endgame to FINALLY dethroning Avatar? We’ll have to wait and see. 🙂

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.

The Chosen One: Chapter Fourteen

The Dream

The night, which was meant to be a casual evening among friends, had turned into something far more interesting with the son of Skywalker arriving to crash the party. Now Rey was lying in her bed, staring at the ceiling, baffled by the events of the night.

“John Skywalker,” she whispered to herself.

She shook her head. There were so many secrets in the world.

She turned over onto her side, took a deep breath, and closed her eyes.
