‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Is Not the End, it Is the First Step Into a Larger World

During the Star Wars celebration this year it was announced that after The Rise of Skywalker we would be getting a break from Star Wars for a while. For those with Star Wars fatigue, I’m sure there were plenty of cheers and sighs of relief but as someone who’s a bona fide Star Wars fan, the news was a bit of a bummer. So, imagine my surprise when I saw this tweet.

If you look a little closer at the release dates on this list you will notice that in December of 2022, 2024, and 2026 we will be getting three new Star Wars movies. Yes, I said it! That secret Star Wars trilogy that we all knew existed has just been confirmed with literal release dates posted by yours truly, Fandango. That means these release dates are legit.

I am totally freaking out. This has been the best news of the week!

The Chosen One: Chapter Twenty-Two

Attacking the First Order

Sergeant Keeli sat in a three-person speeder bristling with cannons as she prepared to lead her ground unit, the Crusaders, into battle. Behind her were two soldiers that she had grown to trust over the last few months, a female Abednedo soldier named Yammi and a male Togrutan soldier named Karcuck. They were manning the cannons but when they saw her they saluted.

“Sergeant,” they both said in unison.

“Yammi. Karcuck,” Keeli responded.

Once firmly in her seat and behind the speeder’s controls, she said over the comms, “I’m in position.”

“Then we’re ready to roll,” Lieutenant Connix spoke. “Squadrons, prepare for takeoff. Ground units, make your way to the weapons facility with all haste.”
