What’s Your Favorite Animated Disney Classic?

Disney movies. They are some of my favorite movies to watch. Between the lovable songs and the heartfelt stories, these films have managed to bring me joy since I was a child. But, I’m not the only one. There are millions of people around the world who love Disney movies and that’s why I thought this would be a fun topic for this week. Enjoy!

(I will be listing the most popular Disney movies of the 20th century while films like FrozenThe Incredibles, and so forth will not be on this list, but I will consider them as honorable mentions.)

Pocahontas

Pocahontas is the story of a group of English settlers who come to America and, of course, one of the settlers by the name of Captain John Smith runs into the ethereally beautiful Pocahontas. This is the inspiring tale of love and how it can build bridges between people who would otherwise be enemies, which is always a beautiful thing to see.

The Chosen One: Chapter Thirty-Five

A Long-Awaited Reunion

Rey stood on the front deck of her one-story home gazing at the dazzling lake that sat before her. Rolling green hills haloed by the setting sun sat on the other side of the lake, providing her a relaxing view. Her brown robe and long hair were tossed about by a warm breeze and yet a chill ran down her spine.

Something was happening. She could feel it.

Where was Ora? She had left a while ago and she wasn’t back. What if something happened to her? Rey had taught her well in self-defense but still…anything could happen. Her hand instinctively reached toward the lightsaber at her waist as she prepared to go find her daughter when she heard Ora’s voice in the distance.
