Recapping the Best Trailers from San Diego Comic-Con

Yeah, San Diego Comic-Con was a few weeks ago but I’m still excited about the awesome trailers that were released. So, for all of you who may not have seen the trailers or want a quick reminder of the movies and tv shows to look forward to, here they are.

The Witcher

The Witcher was first a novel, then a game, and finally, its become a live-action series on Netflix starring Henry Cavill and the first teaser trailer dropped during San Diego Comic-Con. I saw it and I was definitely impressed. Fantasy shows are hard to make because of the budget needed to make that show look convincing. The Witcher looks like a lot of money has been utilized to make this show as good as it can possibly be and I’m glad to see that.

The only thing I found lacking in this teaser was The Witcher himself. This show is supposed to be about him and yet it seemed to focus more on the characters surrounding him. But let me not judge that as a fault considering that I don’t even know The Witcher story.

It: Chapter Two

I’m not a fan of scray movies. I saw the first trailer in the movie theaters when I went to see Godzilla: King of the Monsters. In short, I was terrified. This second trailer is just as bad. This movie is going to give a lot of people nightmares.

Star Trek: Picard

I love Star Trek: The Next Generation for multiple reasons but mainly because of Captain Picard. He was so cool and he led his fellow adventurers with such a stern but commanding presence that I wanted to journey with him across the stars to planets unknown.

While I don’t know what this show is about it definitely looks very entertaining. This is definitely a must-watch for all Star Trek fans.

Top Gun: Maverick

Anytime Tom Cruise makes a movie I’m excited and this latest action hit he’s starring in just maybe one of his best. While I’ve never seen the original Top Gun movie I have a feeling that it won’t matter because this is a brand new story set decades after the last one and I’m ready. Ready to see yet another Tom Cruise blockbuster masterpiece.

So these are the best trailers from San Diego Comic-Con. In a few weeks, we’ll have the latest news for all things Disney in the upcoming D23 Expo at the end of the month. So excited!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
