The Dark Knight Lives (SIX)

The newly elected mayor Barber Anistello couldn’t believe his ears when he learned his father’s best friend, Charles Dawgs, one of the most inspiring role models in young Anistello’s life, had been found half out of his mind and naked on Gotham Boulevard. And, to make things even worse, four bodies had been found in the river. The bodies belonged to the good friends of the city’s most prominent judges. Something was going on and Anistello wasn’t ready for it. Continue reading The Dark Knight Lives (SIX)

In Case You Missed It: Here are Some New Photos of Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren

The Rise of Skywalker is set to return Kylo Ren to his former glory as the menacing master of the Knights of Ren. In The Force Awakens, we briefly saw his band of Sith followers who Snoke dubbed as the Knights of Ren but since then they have been mysteriously removed from the story…until now.

In the upcoming Empire October issue, the Knights of Ren and Kylo Ren are highlighted in two new and exclusive images for The Rise of Skywalker. Here they are.

Both seem pretty doggone spectacular and it’s only a matter of time before we get to see the third and final trailer in the coming couple of weeks, which is an utterly exhilarating prospect.

How do you feel about these new pics? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force be with you.

Is the ‘Birds of Prey’ Trailer Worth the Wait?

After Suicide Squad in 2016, it was very clear that fans were delighted by Harley Quinn’s big-screen debut, despite the fact that the film was practically garbage. Now, arriving in 2020, Harley Quinn is returning with a plan to cause chaos and she’s got some girlfriends to join her. Here’s the film’s first teaser trailer.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of this teaser trailer. It’s too much stuff going on and I guess that’s fine, considering that Harley Quinn loves the chaos but it feels like the teaser is focusing too much on Harley Quinn and not enough of the other characters. What I will say was interesting about this trailer was there will be plenty of action in this film. PLENTY of action. Does Ewan Mcgregor convince me as a DC Comics worthy villain? Not really. But then again, the teaser was so chaotic I couldn’t comprehend what his villainous storyline is supposed to be.

Warner Bros. is trying to distance themselves from Marvel by delivering R-rated comic book flicks that truly are trying to widen the comic book envelope but unfortunately, this teaser trailer didn’t excite me. Boo.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a tremendous day.

A Tantalizing Preview for Resistance Reborn Reveals a Very Blatant Fact for Rey

Before The Mandalorian, before Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, before the biggest event of the year for Star Wars fans, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, we have Resistance Reborn, a novel set shortly after the events of The Last Jedi, featuring General Organa, Rey, Poe, and Finn in an adventure to restore the Resistance to glory before the events of The Rise of Skywalker. It’s a must-have prequel to the movie Star Wars fans are counting down the days for and yesterday an exclusive excerpt was dropped on to get us pumped for the novel.

Of course, I read it, and it was expectedly thrilling but there was something very blatant that I gleaned from a certain section of the excerpt that caught my very rigid attention. Here it is. Continue reading A Tantalizing Preview for Resistance Reborn Reveals a Very Blatant Fact for Rey

QI’RA: Chapter Forty-Three

Qi’ra vs. Nienye

Qi’ra never imagined that when she discovered Nienye on Tamoran over a year ago, admiring his skills as he fought ten opponents to stay alive, that she was looking at her greatest opponent. And greatest he was.

Nienye was a skilled spearsman and his weapon’s length was keeping her at bay. Every time she tried to move past his defenses he performed a maneuver with his spear that forced her to back away. Spectators had moved away to prevent from being struck in the fight but they were sticking around to watch the duel, oohing and aahing like individuals at a sporting event as Nienye and Qi’ra added to the nighttime entertainment.
