The Dark Knight Lives (ELEVEN)

An elderly African-American man climbs the steps to the courthouse in the wee hours of the morning. The sky is just beginning to become a navy blue color, revealing the arrival of sunrise but the streets are still alight with the glow of the lampposts. The man is a judge and his name is Thomas Mayer.

He’s the most prominent judge in Gotham. In short, he was hated by most who lived in Gotham, for his strict ways kept crime low in the city, and with crime came loads of money. Even the wealthy businessmen and women in Gotham had shady dealings in the black market, making Judge Mayer someone they’d rather have eliminated. But Mayer didn’t care if he was hated. In fact, he loved it because it meant he was doing his job properly. Continue reading The Dark Knight Lives (ELEVEN)

Henry Jackman Returns to the MCU to Score ‘Black Widow’

Henry Jackman, the composer for two of the best Marvel films in the MCU, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, is returning to compose the score for Black Widow and I couldn’t be happier.

His score for The Winter Soldier is easily one of my favorites in the MCU and once again, it proves that Marvel is designing Black Widow to be like The Winter Soldier which is a very exciting prospect.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day.

Tobey Maguire would become iconic for being the first person to bring the web-slinging superhero to life on the big screen that caught the hearts of millions. Grossing $825 million at the global box office, it was confirmed that this version of Spider-Man was a booming success.

He would go on to make two more movies, with Spider-Man 3 going on to have the worst reviews of all of the live-action Spider-Man films at 6.2 out of 10 stars on IMDb. It was after Spider-Man 3 that it was obvious a new Spider-Man needed to be crowned. Continue reading Who’s Your Favorite Spider-Man?

QI’RA: Chapter Forty-Eight

Qi’ra’s Defiance

Qi’ra piloted her stealthy craft, Night Shade, toward Dathomir with only one mission in mind; killing Darth Maul. He, like Dryden Vos, thought he controlled her. That she would bend to his every will if he so much as blinked. Well, Dryden had been wrong and look what happened to him. Darth Maul was next in line to meet her wrath.

Dipping beneath the hemisphere of the planet it almost seemed like yesterday when she came here the first time aboard First Light. At the time, she had been seized with fear and unsureness. Now, her bones quaked with anger and ferocity. Continue reading QI’RA: Chapter Forty-Eight
