Commissioner Gordon was sitting in his office, his expression grim as he rested his elbows on the armrests at his sides, his hands clasped as he remained in deep thought.
His lieutenant was out combing Gotham with several units of the police force looking for Robin but Gordon knew better. If he hadn’t been discovered yet he was probably dead. The thought was numbing. With Robin dead, The Penguin, whoever he was, would be able to do whatever he pleased, for the police force wasn’t strong enough to stop what seemed to be a secret invasion on the very heart of the city. My QI’RA series has reached its end but, as I displayed in my latest post about the fanfiction series I announced that I would feature Qi’ra in another story coming this December. And apparently my sister is pretty excited about the upcoming fanfiction series, QI’RA: A Rebel Rises because she’s drawn a picture to highlight the upcoming story. Here it is.
Surprise, it’s Enfys Nest. This character was established albeit briefly in QI’RA as an enemy of hers but this next story will delve into her journey a little more personally. While QI’RA was solely about, well, Qi’ra, QI’RA: A Rebel Rises is about both Qi’ra and Enfys Nest as they navigate their alliances with the Rebellion and The Empire all while remaining beneath the criminal underworld umbrella.
It should be a fantastic ride with plenty of surprises and my sister and I can’t wait to share more with you.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force be with you.
Captain America, our beloved patriotic hero who found his way into our hearts, if not immediately, then gradually over the years. It’s sad to think we won’t have Steve Rogers anymore in the next few phases of the MCU and yet…maybe we will still have him around. Not in a literal sense but in a figurative sense. You’re probably wondering what I’m talking about. Well, let me elaborate.
As you may remember Steve Rogers was tasked with putting all of the stones back but instead of returning to his friends like he should’ve he decided to stay in the past and live out his life with Peggy.
In Captain America: The Winter Soldier Peggy tells the reporter in a video: “That was a difficult winter. A blizzard had trapped half our battalion behind the German line. Steve, Captain Rogers, he fought his way through a HYDRA blockade that had pinned down our allies for months. He saved over a thousand men. Including the man who would become my husband as it turns out. Even after he died Steve was still changing my life.”
Immediately we assumed that she had gone on and married some guy in the army that Steve had saved but apparently that didn’t happen. A particular sentence in this scene now stands out to me. It’s when Peggy says: “Even after he died Steve was still changing my life.” Continue reading Captain America May Return to the MCU, Just Not in the Way We Think
