I’m So Excited for DC Fandome!

One week from today the first truly exciting movie event of the year is taking place and that is DC Fandome, an online virtual comic-con of sorts that will provide everything DC Comics-related.

That means we’ll be getting a new trailer of Wonder Woman 1984, some new looks at The Batman, a trailer for the Snyder Cut of Justice League, and a bunch of other announcements for Shazam! 2, Black Adam, The Flash, Aquaman 2, and so much more.

It is a 24-hour event that will be nonstop fun for nerds in desperate need of some good entertainment news. It’s been so long since any substantial movie news circulated through the internet that this feels like Christmas (and I’m not even a full-blown DC Comics fan but hey, I’ll take it.)

Of course, with so much attention surrounding DC Comics and thus Warner Bros. in the next week, it seems we’ll be getting other movie news later this month.

Already, Netflix revealed the official trailer for the highly-anticipated film starring Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson called The Devil All the Time. It’s most likely a mystery thriller that could potentially garner Holland his first Oscar nomination which would be a nice turn for the young actor who injected so much joy into his lifechanging role as Spider-Man in the MCU.

The trailer’s actually pretty good and feels like it can be on par with the likes of other murder-mystery thrillers like Winter’s Bone and Prisoners if written well enough. We’ll see how it turns out.

It’s already been announced that we’ll be getting a trailer for Dune sometime this month which I’m SUPER excited to see and there are rumors that we’ll even be getting a trailer for The Mandalorian next Saturday. The thought is truly exciting.

So yeah, it’s been a busy month and I’m ready to embrace it all.
