Natasha Romanoff was getting tired of bad things happening. First, The Avengers had been put on probation after the government told them to take a break once determining that they were causing more harm than good. Second, not all of The Avengers were on the same page, leading to an imminent showdown that left some people in serious trouble while others administered their wounds. Third, Colonel Rhodes had almost gotten killed and yet Tony Stark hadn’t immediately shut down the Sokovia Accords. A Woman Needs to Be the Lead In Christopher Nolan’s Next Movie

Christopher Nolan is a heck of a movie maker, a fact validated after I recently watched two more of his films, TENET and Memento. TENET would be quite the occasion for several reasons but one such reason was that it would be the first Nolan film to feature a black man as his lead character and it was a refreshing change of pace.

But the refreshing thing about it wasn’t the fact that this movie had a black lead. It was refreshing feeling how normal it felt, how the movie’s script never made it a point to call out that this story had a black lead other than a subtle quip at some point in the movie.

‘The Clone Wars’ or ‘Star Wars: Rebels’: Which Is Your Favorite?

Star Wars‘ animated series have become some of the best source of storytelling in the franchise. The Clone Wars and Rebels have located themselves in the gaps of stories we already know, introduced new characters to us that we have fallen in love with, and helped add depth to a story that, already great, seems even better.

The Clone Wars is set between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, with its final season which came out earlier this year, coinciding with certain events in Revenge of the Sith.

It was amazing! And the series, as a whole, is just plain fun with so many episodes to explore and enjoy. The animated series, in 2008, may have been considered a joke, but now, twelve years later, it’s thought of as one of the greatest animated series of all time.
