I’ve been looking for a new series to binge-watch like I binge-watched Star Wars: Rebels and it just so happens that this particular series is the seven-year-long running BBC mystery, Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the titular role and Martin Freeman as his trusty right-hand man, Dr. Watson.

I’m one episode in from the first season and I’m already in love with this show. The modern take on Sherlock Holmes is marvelous, Cumberbatch is so much better at playing this character than Robert Downey Jr. (sorry Downey Jr.), and I’m just really loving the entire vibe of the show.

The cinematography, the witty screenplay, the suspense and strange crimes. This seems like it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch over the next few weeks and as I complete each season I will share my thoughts on the season and what I’m excited to see next.
