I’ve often found Qi’ra to be one of the most fascinating characters in Star Wars since I watched Solo: A Star Wars Story for the first time and understood the potential of her story.
Qi’ra, unlike most women in the Star Wars universe, lies in that grey moral area where you can’t exactly determine if she’s a villain or the “good guy.” However, Qi’ra seemed to make it very clear that she would never be the “good guy” when Han confronted her about running away together and that inspired me to want to write a fan fiction story about her consisting of three parts: QI’RA, QI’RA: A Rebel Rises, and QI’RA: The Curtain Falls.
Each story will delve into Qi’ra’s very conscience as we see her grapple with the choices she makes and the criminal world she has decided to join.
QI’RA, of course, transpires directly after Solo: A Star Wars Story ends, allowing us the chance to see her go to Maul. Ooh, I can’t wait for you to intake this story and all of its gleeful twists and turns.
If you’ve been following my blog for a while you will already know that I have previously written QI’RA and shared it, however, to understand the context of its sequel, QI’RA: A Rebel Rises, I must revisit it.
I thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy this story. Have a beautiful day.
