Nienye loved the exhilaration of battle. At home on Takodana hunting in the dense forests with his father had been a daily pleasure. The sheer adrenaline flowing through one’s veins while taking on a Jorker; a fierce boar with lethal tusks and spike-covered skin, was a feeling unlike any other. One day, when his father was too ill to join him, he left to go hunt alone. That day a bunch of mercenaries arrived at his village looting and pillaging. No one in the village survived.
Devastated and heartbroken, Nienye headed west, eventually reaching Maz Kanata’s castle where he found work and left Takodana with a group of smugglers. For a few years, he worked alongside the smugglers until they too would find misfortune. Apparently, one of the crew had stolen from a major crime boss and the gang wanted revenge. Nienye almost died that day but he was spared, taken as a prisoner instead and sold on the black market. By wits and strengthened resolve, he managed to escape.
He then ventured across the galaxy, surviving off of scraps and his admirable fighting skills. When all hope seemed lost he met Qi’ra.

Yes, you are hearing correctly. Jamie Foxx will be reportedly be reprising his role as Electro in the upcoming Spider-Man movie and I am ecstatic! Don’t get me wrong, I thought that he had the worst portrayal of a comic book villain in a comic book movie ever! but I trust the MCU and I know this is going to be awesome!
This is also making me very excited because this practically confirms that the Sinister Six will be in this next movie and the thought is exhilarating!! Oh my goodness, I’m getting so excited!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.
Both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies were mainly male-dominated but amidst all of the lovable heroes there were a few powerful heroines who helped not only make the movies better but also shined in their own personal spotlights. So today I’m making a post to celebrate these incredible women and debate which heroine was the greatest. Enjoy!
Arwen never had much screen time in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and for the most part she was treated as solely Aragorn’s elven love interest, which is super boring. Especially considering how great of a warrior she really was. She not only evaded the Nazgul as she transported a grievously wounded Frodo to Rivendell but she also managed to conjure the river to her aid to sweep the Nazgul away from those lands! That’s pretty awesome! She would probably be my favorite heroine if she had more scenes displaying her as a warrior instead of a sappy, smooching elf. I still love her though. 🙂
