When you think of the Marvel Cinematic Universe it’s easy to immediately think of the likes of Iron Man or Captain America, two characters who have been in this franchise since pretty much the beginning but there’s another character that has been an integral part of the story since 2011’s Thor. That is, of course, the complicated villain/hero Loki.
We’ve had to watch Loki grapple with his true identity, pine for the ability to rule Asgard, try to take over Earth, become a bit of a hero, and pretty much fake his death over and over again until he ran out of luck. However, now he’s returning with his very own Disney+ series and that means for once, the story is going to be about him and solely him.
In the comics, we know that Loki can take many forms. It seems that Lady Loki is going to appear in this series played by Sophia Di Martino. Lady Loki is apparently Hiddleston Loki disguised in a female persona which of course keeps him out of the eyes of whoever may be looking for the God of Mischief.
As the series gets closer and closer to beginning filming there’s a rumor going around that Loki will feature the title character in not just one but two romantic relationships, one with a man and one with a woman. This fits with the idea of Loki’s fluid sexuality that was delved into in the comics as he changed forms and had relationships based on those forms he assumed.
So, Lady Loki may like a fella and regular Loki will find the affection of a lady. Of course, this is just a rumor but it’s definitely intriguing.
Honestly, the thought of Loki having a romantic relationship of any kind seems a bit shocking and hilarious but ultimately will probably be interesting, especially considering how that could affect his already-complex storyline.
And then of course, the MCU has found ways to incorporate storylines from the comics but staying true to the franchise’s originality, meaning Lady Loki could be an entirely new character sprouted from the Multiverse storyline that seems to be a major element to Phase Four, not Loki himself in female form.
Do you like the idea of Loki having multiple romantic relationships? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.

It’s really a hard concept to grasp but it is a welcomed one. I don’t think I’ve ever thought of Loki as a romantic he always seems to think he’s above such “weaknesses” and if he delves into it, it’s certainly for something he really wants to exploit.

That’s true. Yeah…if Loki falls in love with someone that’s going to be a real commitment.
😂 You bet
