Qi’ra’s Defiance

Qi’ra piloted her stealthy craft, Night Shade, toward Dathomir with only one mission in mind; killing Maul. He, like Dryden Vos, thought he controlled her. That she would bend to his every will if he so much as blinked. Well, Dryden had been wrong and look what happened to him. Maul was next in line to meet her wrath.

I’m Recasting the Alfred Hitchcock Movies: Part 2

In the last part of this series I recast the main characters of classic Hitchcock movies Rope, North by Northwest, and The Birds. Today, I will recast three more films; Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Shadow of a Doubt. Enjoy!

Shadow of a Doubt is one of Hitchcock’s best movies. In fact, it was Hitchcock’s personal favorite and for good reason. This film builds upon its suspense and is perfectly directed, leading you through the story in a really immersive way.

In it, Joseph Cotton plays the estranged uncle, Charlie Oakley and Teresa Wright plays his niece, Charlie Newton. They are the beating heart of this thriller masterpiece and it is their performances that help make this one of my favorite Hitchcock movies.

But who could play these two? I’ve got just the two actors who would be perfect in these roles.

Yes, this isn’t a year that we’ve quite experienced before with COVID-19 upending so many of our lives and casting a shadow on the holiday proceedings but through it all there is always a way to find joy. And this year, I’ve got more glorious books to share with you that’ll make beautiful memories with you and your family this Christmas. So, with no further delay, here are those books.

Christmas is Joy by Emma Dodd

Cute, cute, cute! This story with its simple rhymes is already cute but what puts it over the edge are the little details; silver snow, silver water, silver trees under a starry night sky. Your children will be captivated by this story and there’s a good chance you will be too.

‘The Mandalorian: Chapter 12’: AAAhHH!!!!

Let’s just say, I think this week’s episode may be my favorite of the season so far. It had so many memorable moments! From beginning to end, this show never lets up with its laugh-out-loud moments, the action is spectacular, the characters are at their best. Cara Dune and Greef Karga are back and better than ever in this season.

There’s just so much to love about this episode that I’m losing my mind!

I’ll of course have a lot more to say about it tomorrow but for now…I’m just thankful that we have this brilliant masterpiece of a show because it is awesome.
