‘WandaVision’ Better be Good Tomorrow!

Last Thursday was a long day for me. I was so excited for the newest episode of WandaVision after that jaw-dropping cliffhanger that I was literally losing sleep…and then I watched the sixth episode and was just left feeling like, “Bleh.”

Watching ‘Soul’ a Second Time

Last year on Christmas Day families with a Disney+ subscription were invited to watch what I feel was one of the best pictures of the year, Soul. When I saw it the first time I was positively blown away by its wit, it’s charm, and most importantly, it’s brilliance. Ever since I watched it roughly two months ago I have been planning to rewatch it and that’s what I did this morning. Wow, wow, wow.

I’ve seen a lot of great Disney movies but Soul is honestly one of the most thought-provoking and imaginative films the studio has ever produced. Unlike most Disney movies, Soul honestly doesn’t feel as catered to children as other movies. The jokes are targeted towards adults who have experienced things and the subject material of the movie will go over a child’s head. And yet, it can bring an entire family together for its simply magnificent animation that tells such a beautiful story and its lovable characters.

I honestly cannot express enough how much I love this movie! It’s beautiful in every sense of the word and is one of Disney’s crowning achievements.

If you haven’t watched it yet I highly recommend it. It’s, in my opinion, the best picture of 2020,
