I’ve been a bit obsessed with Star Wars novels for the last few years and the newest novel I’ve been waiting to get my hands on was Light of the Jedi.
At first, I wasn’t very interested in the new High Republic era to be frank but when I learned that we were getting a Disney+ series featured during the end of the High Republic era called The Acolyte I realized that I had to get into this story. So…here we are.

I have not read the book yet but I’m hoping it lives up to the hype. The Jedi can be so fascinating, if written thoughtfully, and to think that these stories feature a whole new range of diverse, powerful Jedi Masters, knights, and padawans is very, very intriguing.
I’ll be sharing my further thoughts about this book tomorrow because I’m totally about to binge-read this novel. Hopefully I’ll be writing an enthusiastic post…🤞
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.
I’ve recently read it and I loved it. Some people can’t get into new characters, but when it comes to Jedi, I’m all in. Into the Dark, the YA novel by Claudia Gray, is also great. Looking forward to see what you thought about LOTJ.

I’m 37 pages in and I…like it. I’m just a bit surprised at the style of writing. It doesn’t feel like Charles Soule is a particularly great writer but I do like the characters so far. Avar Kriss, Loden Greatstorm, and Bell Zettifar seems pretty cool.

I think Charles Soule was mainly a comic writer and this may be his first novel? I think. And I felt the whole first part, about the Great Disaster happening, wasn’t the best part of the book. I think it went on a bit too long. But I thought the rest of the book was great.

Well, I’ve gotten a bit further into the Great Disaster section and I’m getting more invested. Loden Greatstorm and Bell Zettifar are my favorite Jedi of the High Republic era so far.

Loden is a big favorite of mine, too. I like them all, though, lol.
