Loki is one of my favorite characters in the MCU because he can be just so darn fun. He’s funny, devious, he always has a trick up his sleeve, and yet behind this mischievous facade is a man with a deep reservoir of feeling and compassion that comes into play time and time again through the MCU. By Infinity War, he had gone back to his brotherly ways and literally risked everything in his attempt to kill Thanos.
When he was choked to death by Thanos I actually got teary because I was so fond of this character and then Marvel Studios said, “Surprise! He’s not dead yet.”
Turns out Endgame brought Loki back to life, albeit in a weird way, and we will get a chance to see that in the next Marvel Disney+ series after TFATWS and The Bad Batch in Loki.
According to the latest trailer, he’s been assigned by the TVA (Time Travel Agents, I guess) to help them get the alternate realities back in line…and a whole lot of mayhem is likely going to ensue.
The trailer showed us plenty of Loki being mischievous as ever and I’m really hoping this show allows the Asgardian to be a royal, non-apologetic pain in the rear end without particularly giving him a hero streak because that would be fun to watch.

Think about it. This Loki is the one from the time of The Avengers, the version who hasn’t lost his mother yet and is still in pure villain mode. This Loki is not only the most devious but he is also the most willing to mess stuff up and I. Can’t. Wait!
Do you want Loki to stay villainous throughout the duration of the series? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.
