The ‘Secret Invasion’ Series Is Stacking Up To Have an Amazing Cast

Marvel Studios is getting ready to start filming the multiple new series for us to enjoy next year and one such series that’s been getting updated this past week because of its growing cast is Secret Invasion, the MCU series that will star Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn and will feature the iconic Secret Invasion storyline which focuses on the Skrull’s infiltration of Earth and their impersonation of some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

And now the highly-anticipated series is gaining a cast that is living up to the hype. Here are the A-list actors joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time.

Kingsley Ben-Adir just got a big push in entertainment with his portrayal of Malcolm X in One Night in Miami and now he’s joining Marvel as an unknown character. I actually hoped that he would be joining Marvel Studios and I’m so excited to see that he actually is.

The Crown' Star Olivia Colman Fears Unemployment After Playing Queen

The Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman, known for her roles as Queen Elizabeth in The Crown and Queen Anne in The Favourite, is also joining the series most likely as the series’ primary antagonist. In 2014, Colman expressed interest in joining the MCU and the fact that she wanted to play a villain, hopefully with powers as she hoped.

I love the idea of Colman playing this dastardly villain that’s just 100% menacing.

And the latest A-lister to join the cast is Emilia Clarke. She is most widely known as Daenarys in Game of Thrones but she made her Disney turn as Han Solo’s love interest Qi’ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Now she’s joining the MCU and that is an exciting development. Will she be a good guy, a villain, or a bit of both? We’ll see but I’m getting REALLY excited for this show.

Secret Invasion will most likely be starting filming in the next few months and I am ready!
