I was intrigued about WandaVision. I was enthusiastic about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. But I am head-over-heels excited about Loki.
When the teaser trailer dropped I was instantly sucked in. The music was mysterious, the visuals were engaging, and the story left me feeling like…what am I looking at? In a good way, of course.
Ever since seeing that first teaser I have been beyond thrilled to see this series and how it fits into Phase 4 of the MCU and now that we’re two weeks away, I’m just so ecstatic.

I’m feeling a little in the doldrums with Bad Batch, so Loki will hopefully be a refreshing shift. It’ll be interesting to see what they’ll do with what will, at best, be a bit of an antihero protagonist with such a dark past. To some degree, Loki is not really a benevolent force in the comics to speak of at all — he has his moments, but he’s basically always a villain in the end. It’ll be curious to see if they eventually go back that way here or if they succumb to fan fervor to “turn him face,” to borrow a pro wrestling metaphor.
