There is concept art…and then there is concept art! That may not make a lot of sense but when you see the concept art for Loki‘s finale you will inevitably understand what I’m talking about.
Dark, broody, and very mysterious, it’s incredible that Marvel Studios was able to bring this concept to life in such an eye-popping way.
He Who Remains’ office is undoubtedly the coolest fictional office I have ever seen with one of the greatest backdrops as well; the literal Sacred Timeline. The colors chosen to display such an awesome power is literally jaw-dropping.
And then there’s this; another look at the office and all of the cool artifacts sprawled throughout it while allowing us to see the incredible architecture designed to make this space as magnetic as it is.
If you want to know more about the thought process behind the finale’s production design go to the link here.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
Is it just me, or are those concepts a lot more colorful than what we actually got in the series? The window ceilings and the bookshelves in He Who Remains’ office, the blue blow from the windows in the lobby… they went for a more bleak and desolate look in the actual show, I think.

I think they did make it a tad bit darker so it wouldn’t feel so otherworldly but a little more grounded. Or a little scarier so the audience is thrown off.
I think they also made it darker so our attentions are primarily focused on He Who Remains instead of the awesome background.
