A Bold Prediction: Hank Pym Is Going to Die in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’

After Ant-Man and the Wasp only did so-so at the box office and came across as a fun but mediocre sequel it seemed like we wouldn’t be getting an Ant-Man trilogy…but we are, and the hype is real after realizing just the impact Kang the Conqueror could have on the film.

Considering that Kang the Conqueror will be the antagonist in that movie I think it’s safe to bet that someone is going to die in that movie. I mean, Kang is one of the toughest Marvel villains. In fact, he’s more dangerous than Thanos! A villain like that is only going to inspire true respect from the fandom if he’s catching bodies along the way.

So, who is the most expendable in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, will impact the characters greatly, and will let us appreciate Kang’s power in the same way that we appreciate Thanos? Kang will probably kill Hank Pym.

Hank is a prominent figure in the Ant-Man story. He’s Scott’s often-grumpy mentor, Hope’s father and only parent for over twenty years, and he was once a superhero. Killing him off after Hope just had her family reunited would be devastating and would instantly change the tone of the film, resulting in a far more serious third Ant-Man movie.

Do you think anyone should die in Quantumania? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.
