The Eternals trailer wasn’t the only Marvel gift we got yesterday. In fact, Kevin Feige dropped a lot of interesting tidbits and I am here to share them all.
Loki’s Season 2 May Not Start Production Until 2023

In case you didn’t know, the series’ director, Kate Herron has moved on to other projects. That means Loki is devoid of a director as of right now. Even though this is slightly depressing news it actually kind of makes sense.
Tom Hiddleston has been rumored for a while to be reprising his role as Loki in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness so it’s almost certain we’ll be seeing the God of Mischief again in another installment of the MCU.
Plus, Kang the Conqueror will be in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Considering that that movie drops in early 2023, if Loki‘s second season does take place after Quantumania‘s storyline we are bound to wait that long to see all of these characters again anyway.
So, while this news was a bit of a bummer it’s actually sensible.
Riri Williams/IronHeart Will Make Her Debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Yes! You are reading correctly. Dominique Thorn will make her MCU debut as Riri Williams in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Just when it seemed like this movie couldn’t get any cooler, well, Feige just made it that much better.
I’m not going to lie though. This movie does feel a bit crowded. With the undoubted debut of the Atlanteans in this sequel, the amount of technologically advanced societies and new characters that we will be seeing in this movie already seems like a lot but then to add IronHeart to the story as well almost feels overkill.
We understand that Boseman is dead and so we won’t have the presence of Black Panther but I hope Coogler isn’t stuffing this story with new characters to compensate for his absence while lacking a concise and exciting story.
‘Avengers 5’ Is In Development
Even though we may not see this movie until 2025 Kevin Feige has confirmed that things are now in motion that cannot be undone. The Infinity Saga may have ended but a new saga is about to begin and right now, these movies are assembling a new group of heroes who will have to prepare for the next mega showdown of the franchise.
Honestly, I know we all believed that Endgame would be the last great Marvel ensemble film but honestly, I think the next Avengers film is going to be even more bonkers and I am so excited about it!
Of course, this is just a taste of what to expect considering that we will undoubtedly be getting more Marvel news during the Disney+ day on November 12. Ooh, it’s an exciting time to be a Marvel fan.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.
So many things coming out that I need to keep track of! I need a Marvel/Star Wars content calendar, lol. Looking forward to all of these things.
