‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ After a Second Viewing

Well, I can’t believe I’m saying this but Zack Snyder’s Justice League just might be the best DCEU movie so far. I watched the four-hour extravaganza for the second time a couple of days ago and as I sat back, tossed away my prejudices, and actually paid attention to the film I was taken aback by how surprisingly epic it was.

You know when you watch a film, don’t like it the first time, then you watch it again and love it the second time? That’s what happened to me.

As I watched the long drawn out assembling of the Justice League as they strive to protect the world from Steppenwolf’s plan to summon Darkseid to Earth I found myself getting more and more invested in the story.

Yes, there are still some flaws and yes, there is too much slow-mo and it’s about thirty-forty minutes too long but despite that, I found myself having so much fun watching it.

Barry Allen just might be my favorite DC Comics character after the way he was utilized in the film and the movie actually puts The Avengers to shame if you stack them side by side. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye look absolutely pathetic next to the likes of Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash, and honestly, they’re supposed to.

It’s a shame Zack Snyder has never figured out how to make an epic superhero ensemble movie in two hours or at the most two-and-a-half hours because if we had gotten this Justice League movie in 2017 the SnyderVerse would definitely still be a thing.

Am I jumping aboard the #RestoretheSnyderVerse train? After watching that film the other night, maybe I am.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is available to watch on HBO Max.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

The Tragic Reason Why the Multiverse May Be In ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

Two days ago we got the official teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home and unsurprisingly, it garnered the most views for any trailer in 24 hours with 355.5 million views. That’s 60 million more than the views Avengers: Endgame trailer got in 24 hours and that used to hold the record.

The trailer teased a lot of interesting things but one thing that is very clear is that it will include the multiverse. And have a theory why. Hold on to your butts. I’m about to go dark.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!
