It’s almost time! Tomorrow is the big day and I am ready for every moment. Of course, there are some things that I’m more excited for than others.
First off, I’m very excited to check out a new enhanced experience for the streaming service which features IMAX Enhanced MCU movies…meaning the aspect ratio that comes with watching a film in an IMAX movie in theaters will be available on Disney+.
The MCU movies that will be getting this treat are as follows:
- 1. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
- 2. Avengers: Infinity War
- 3. Avengers: Endgame
- 4. Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2
- 5. Ant-Man and the Wasp
- 6. Doctor Strange
- 7. Captain America: Civil War
- 8. Iron Man
- 9. Black Widow
- 10. Black Panther
- 11. Thor: Ragnarok
- 12. Captain Marvel
- I am an IMAX enthusiast so you can imagine my excitement. It’s also exciting because I didn’t get the chance to see Iron Man or Civil War in IMAX so that’s going to be a treat.
There’s also the obvious fact that yes, I’m very excited to see Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings again. That film was so enjoyable and to know I’ll be able to watch it whenever I feel like it is just so satisfying.
And wait. There’s more!
Tomorrow at 9am Est. on Twitter there will be a bunch of announcements for new content coming to Disney+ next year including, hopefully, a first look at Obi-Wan Kenobi. We may also get more details for Secret Invasion, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel. To say I’m through the roof with anticipation for this yearly event is an understatement. I’m practically bursting at the seams.
All in all, tomorrow’s going to be a special day and I am ready for this rollercoaster ride.
