I thought I would never see something less authentic to Star Wars than The Rise of Skywalker but this episode made that movie look like an Oscar winner.

Yeah, there were some things that were cool like Boba befriending his rancor and Krrrsantan getting some action in this episode. Oh and yeah, Danny Trejo joining the franchise feels entirely cool and right and I totally gasped when he showed up.

Unfortunately all of the good things about this episode were ruined by the Star Wars millennial gang with their utterly ridiculous Starburst colored bikes. I was gobsmacked.

Star Wars has a code and that code has been followed for years but these new characters feel like a crossover from a cheap Syfy show which somehow found their way into this franchise. They aggravated me beyond reproach. I was so livid, in fact, that I almost didn’t write this post.

This show had me on the fence but now I’m fully convinced I’m not a fan. I’m just hoping the Kenobi series is far better.
