The Trailer for ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Is Here

Oh my goodness, it’s here everyone. The trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi has finally arrived. Check it out.

And that’s exactly the type of trailer I expected; something very simple but powerful.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is back! And he’s got a lot of enemies coming his way. Seeing the Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother is already exciting enough as it is, but we also have a newcomer, Inquisitor Reva, who looks absolutely fantastic!!!

The opening music is beautiful and totally magical but once you add in Duel of the Fates it’s a foregone conclusion that yes, the trailer is going to be epic.

I think, once again, what surprises me the most about these shows is how good they look. I mean, this looks like a movie and I absolutely can’t wait to see what Star Wars has in store for us come May 25.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a magical day. May the Force be with you, always.

  1. Could be the biggest hit of all D+ shows so far. I feel like this should’ve been a movie. If Vader had a big part in it, it would’ve performed in cinemas analogous to how Force Awakens performed for the prequels.

      1. If I recall, Boba Fett and Obi-Wan were both planned as movies at one point. I feel like they would’ve had more box office potential than Rogue Squadron, if that’s still going to get made.

But I would see the value in ‘going big’ for theatrical, and announcing an entire new trilogy at once. Conceptually, “The First Jedi” seems like a good idea to me. Tell the origin of the whole thing. It had to start somewhere, right? Get the origin of the Jedi, the Sith, lightsabers, and so forth all out there in one epic saga. It would require immense planning to conceive and design how the galaxy looked at that stage, but that’s how ambitious Star Wars should be.
