What Should We Expect from the ‘Moon Knight’ Finale This Week?

Last week’s episode of Moon Knight was a lot to unpack. The penultimate episode dealt with two important origins: Marc Spector’s official rebirth as Moon Knight and the origin of Marc’s DID. In less than fifty minutes Marvel Studios embraced the darkness of Spector’s past and brought it to life in a way that was as emotional as it gets in this franchise. If there was an episode that revealed why this show would be much heavier and more mature than any other MCU outing it was this one.

Everyone thought the series’ borderline R-rating would come from its violence but instead, it is the show’s themes that have pushed the boundaries of what we’re used to seeing under the House of the Mouse. This is only right considering that Moon Knight’s story has never been tame and for Marvel Studios to stay faithful to the comic they were going to have to go very dark at some point.

I could rattle on and on about the fact that Oscar Isaac deserves an Emmy for his incredible performance in this series or how good that episode was but today I’m looking ahead to what we can expect from this finale. And I think it’s kind of obvious.
