In case you didn’t know Dune: Part Two will start filming soon and that means the cast for the remaining slate of important characters yet to be revealed has been announced over the last few months. So yes, now we know exactly who will be playing Feyd-Rautha, Princess Irulan, and Emperor Shaddam the IV. Here they are.
Feyd-Rautha

In the 80s’ rock-and-roll star Sting portrayed Paul’s rival, Feyd. Now Villeneuve has cast Austin Butler who will be portraying Elvis Presley in a film this year starring alongside Tom Hanks to be this generation’s Feyd and I am here for it.
I have not seen any of Butler’s work, but he looks like the guy to play Feyd in a way we won’t forget. I can’t wait to see his transformation into the character.
Princess Irulan

Florence Pugh has had a steep ascent to the top of the A-list conversation in Hollywood with her roles in Midsommar, Black Widow, and the upcoming Christopher Nolan film, Oppenheimer. Now to add to her growing list of critically-acclaimed movies she will be joining the cast of Dune as Princess Irulan.
Once again, great casting.
And last but definitely not least we have Emperor Shaddam the IV.
Emperor Shaddam the IV

Yes. Your eyes are not betraying you. Legendary actor Christopher Walken is the one who will be bringing the character to life in the next part of this epic story. Hearing this news yesterday absolutely blew my mind. It’s such great casting that I wasn’t even suspecting and yes, my excitement for this sequel (of sorts) has grown even more.
What do you think about these casting choices? Did Denis Villeneuve get it right? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.
