Vanity Fair’s Newest Issue is a Dream for ‘Star Wars’ Fans

It’s been a while since I’ve felt like this about Star Wars. You know that feeling. That warm, endlessly joyful feeling in your very soul that only Star Wars can give you. Well, I got that feeling yesterday when June’s issue of Vanity Fair was released online, bringing with it a bunch of jaw-dropping Star Wars goodness.

I’m dead.

Annie Leibovitz is at again with another epic showcasing of Star Wars at its finest. But this time, I know for a fact the long wait will live up to the hype.

Mon Mothma’s new fit is stunning, Cassian is back baby! put your helmet back on Mando before you get in trouble, and yes, Ahsoka’s live-action story that I always dreamed about is so close!

Star Wars used to be all about the movies but now it’s taking over television by storm. The article in this issue covers roughly every upcoming Star Wars in satisfying detail while shining a light on upcoming projects we didn’t even know existed.

Like Jon Watts’ (the director of the critically-acclaimed MCU Spider-Man trilogy) upcoming Star Wars series featuring four kids and set after Return of the Jedi. I’m guessing the show is going to be Star Wars‘ first attempt at something like The Goonies.

Hayden Christensen is channeling peak Vader in this image.

But let’s get back to what we have to look forward to now.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is coming out in nine days which I still can’t quite believe. I’ve waited so very long for this moment. Andor will be arriving in late Summer. The Mandalorian is expected either in late 2022 or early 2023. And Ahsoka is coming in 2023.

The happiness that I feel!

All in all, if you’re a Star Wars fan, this might be the best two years of enjoying this franchise of our lives. If you want to read the entire Vanity Fair article click here.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.
