‘Samaritan’ Actually Was Much Better Than I Expected

Last night I watched Sylvester Stallone’s newest film, Samaritan, with my family and I have to admit, I enjoyed it. I was ready to not like this movie but as the story continued I found myself invested in the characters and the drama that was unfolding.

The worst thing about this movie was the film’s villain who looked like a near carbon copy of the vampire David from The Lost Boys. His presence in the film was really distracting because of how bad the script was surrounding the antagonist and the actor who portrayed him so terribly.

All in all, Samaritan isn’t a brilliant film but it is an enjoyable matinee movie that I think is worth watching for roughly two hours. And the plot twist in this film was legitimately gasp-inducing.

I’m giving it 87 out of 100 and 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a tremendous day.
