As I write this I’m roughly two and a half hours away from seeing Avatar: The Way of Water and I am excited.

In August I went to see the re-release of Avatar in IMAX and it was an experience I’ll never forget. Despite having seen the film three times the movie popped on the big screen in a way I wasn’t expecting. The third act is what really got me, its action scenes and triumphant moments filling my body with a sort of euphoric joy/wonder that I’ve never experienced with any other film.

Now I’m about to see the sequel 13 years in the making and I couldn’t be more ecstatic. Will this sequel truly live up to the hype? We’ll see! I can’t wait to share my thoughts after the movie.
