My Experience with ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.’

I’ve been excited about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 since the first teaser was dropped. The trailer to which I’m referring painted a powerful picture. It was clear James Gunn would end his trilogy with a bang, and boy, did he.

Avengers: Infinity War was an MCU movie I’d thought would never be surpassed…and then I watched Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 today. I do not say this lightly when I tell you this is the best MCU film I’ve seen. Like the first Guardians, this movie grabs you instantly and never lets go. I gasped as soon as the Marvel Studios logo appeared on the screen. From thereon out, I knew I would be in for a ride.

This movie is beautiful, dramatic, extremely dark, and funny, but most importantly, it solidifies the Guardians as maybe the greatest found family in cinema.

The cast was at their absolute best in this film. Every actor got to shine in a way that felt so earned and rewarding. Even Will Poulter, who plays newcomer Adam Warlock, is the perfect addition to this film, filled with intriguing, extraordinary characters.

James Gunn brings so much heart to this final MCU film. I found myself unable to hold back genuine, cascading tears on several occasions because of this movie’s power. Not to mention the heartbreaking scenes laced throughout this comic book movie masterpiece that left me devastated.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is incredible. If James Gunn manages to infuse the same amount of heart in Superman: Legacy, then Superman fans are in for a ride.

Bravo, James Gunn, the entire cast, and everyone else involved in this fantastic trilogy finale. They really knocked it out of the park.

I’m giving the movie 97 out of 100 and 5 out of 5 stars.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a tremendous day.
