This Week of Marvel Studios News Is All About the Women

As an MCU fan, this week has been an absolute feast.

First off, a couple of days ago, this new official look at Thor: Love and Thunder revealed better looks at the two women who will most likely steal the show in MCU’s next film, Thor: Love and Thunder.

Tessa Thompson returns for her third MCU appearance as King Valkyrie and yes, she looks like royalty.

Next to her is Natalie Portman who has very much been transformed by the Marvel regimen and become freaking Mighty Thor. I mean look at her! This multiversal version of Padme would’ve given Anakin something to think about if he tried to turn against her.

And in the bottom-right corner is, supposedly, our first human version of Bast, the Panther Goddess who granted the Wakandans the power of the Black Panther. If that is her, she looks absolutely stunning.

‘Ms. Marvel’ Has an Official Trailer!

It’s Kamala Khan’s time! Here’s the trailer for her upcoming show which I am SO EXCITED to see. Check it out.

I truly believe Iman Vellani is about to become as iconic as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man with her MCU debut in Ms. Marvel. Ms. Marvel has always been a fantastic character and now that she’s officially part of the MCU I’m freaking out a little bit.

That last shot especially…so many chills! This is going to be a great show, I can already tell.

The Trailer for ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Is Here

Oh my goodness, it’s here everyone. The trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi has finally arrived. Check it out.

And that’s exactly the type of trailer I expected; something very simple but powerful.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is back! And he’s got a lot of enemies coming his way. Seeing the Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother is already exciting enough as it is, but we also have a newcomer, Inquisitor Reva, who looks absolutely fantastic!!!

The opening music is beautiful and totally magical but once you add in Duel of the Fates it’s a foregone conclusion that yes, the trailer is going to be epic.

I think, once again, what surprises me the most about these shows is how good they look. I mean, this looks like a movie and I absolutely can’t wait to see what Star Wars has in store for us come May 25.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a magical day. May the Force be with you, always.

‘The Rings of Power’ Finally Gets Its First Trailer

Okay, we’ve been waiting years for this. Here’s the first trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

My first worry going into the trailer was my fear that it wouldn’t look, visually, like the world Peter Jackson had created. So you can imagine my relief when I noticed that it looked very similar. colorwise, to The Hobbit.

Does this look like it has the potential to be very good? Yes, it does. Will it be very good? I’m not quite sure.

I can definitively say that I like the casting for a young Galadriel. I like that she seems fierce, determined, and very much in charge but I also think she has the ability to be as graceful and powerful as Cate Blanchett. Young Elrond, hmm, not so much.

He does not look like Elrond at all to me and while I like his hair I don’t know if he’s going to win me over…but maybe he will. All in all, the trailer didn’t lay me out but it stifled some of my misgivings.

What do you think about the trailer? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.

The ‘Moon Knight’ Trailer Is Here and It Is Delightfully Interesting

Yeah, the Moon Knight trailer is here and I’ve got to say, I have it up there with Loki on my EXCITED list for a Disney+ series. For now, Loki is still the series I was most excited about after its trailer mainly because, well, I knew the title character. I still have roughly no idea about Marc Spector or Moon Knight or the intriguing and apparent supernatural corner of the MCU he inhabits. I’m also quite not over the fact that Poe’s about to be a superhero, even though I know Oscar Isaac has the acting chops to pull this role off and Sarah Halley Finn hasn’t failed yet at casting.

We’re Finally Getting That ‘Moon Knight’ Trailer Tomorrow Night!

Well folks, it’s time. The Moon Knight trailer drops tomorrow night during Monday Night Football and I honestly couldn’t be more excited. Here’s the teaser.

Very, very cool. Ahead of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness this series feels like the perfect show to get us in the mood for something a bit darker.

I love the aesthetic of this show and I’m really digging the slightly scary atmosphere of this series. It’s already been rumored that this will be one of the most mature installments in the MCU which already sounds perfect considering that Moon Knight’s story is very mature. To water him down would be a bit unfortunate.

Hopefully, the trailer will announce that the series will be coming out sometime in March and not April. 🤞

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.
