It’s Time for Another Break

It’s that time. With nothing really happening entertainment-wise and my personal life requiring a bit of attention it’s time for another brief hiatus.

I, once again, thank you for always finding time in your day to come to my blog and see what new things I have to talk about. Of course, if anything REALLY EXCITING happens I’ll return in a flash to share my thoughts but until then, I’m going to give this blog a rest.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

A Post Hiatus

Hello everyone. Something important has come up and that means that I will be taking a break from sharing any posts at the moment. Once again, I thank you for always taking the time out of your day to come visit my site to see what new topic I will be talking about.

When I started this blog the day before Rogue One came out in 2016 I really just wanted to share my love for all things movies. Now it’s not only become a venue where I can talk about pop culture but it has turned into a chance to share something with friends. You all have become my friends and I love sharing my thoughts with you every day or talking with you via the comments section.

I will be back to writing more content soon but until then, I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful weekend.

I’ve Got a Website Update!

A few months ago I announced that I would be making a new website focused primarily on movie reviews called Her Three Words. What made the site different than most movie review blogs is I would write the reviews with three words to describe that particular film. Well, Her Three Words has evolved into a new beast, Mini Opinion. On this site, I continue to share movie reviews in short, concise fashions but with a little more clarity and information behind each review.

If you’re interested go check out my website: Mini Opinion. It’s undergone a brand new revamp so if you’ve been to the website before you will LOVE the new look. And if you haven’t, well, I hope you enjoy.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.

These Are the Rotten Tomatoes Scores for the Movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; from Worst to Best

Yesterday, while watching the Michigan State vs. Duke game (yes, Duke lost!!! Woo!) I went to Rotten Tomatoes and started looking at all of the Rotten Tomatoes scores for every single Marvel movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I had a blast.

First off, I was super excited (and actually kind of surprised) to see that there hasn’t been a single MCU film that has received a rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes. Wow! That’s impressive. And while there are movies that are clearly better than others it’s very interesting seeing which films, according to Rotten Tomatoes, reign supreme.

Enjoy!

I’ve Got Some Exciting News!

Have you ever watched a movie and wished you could redo it? You came away from the film mildly disappointed or downright outraged at the direction things have turned for a film. Well, I’ve taken matters into my own hands.

While I have widely praised The Last Jedi for its bold moves and unique storytelling I can’t say it’s the best Star Wars movie I’ve ever seen or exactly the sequel I wanted for The Force Awakens. And I’m sure there are many others who feel the same way.

So, I’ve decided to make my own version of The Last Jedi. I’m not sure if you know about the site my sister and I have called 2sistersonline. On that site, my sister and I post fan fiction and fan art for all of the franchises that we love. A few weeks ago I thought of a brilliant idea to write my own version of The Last Jedi and I decided to share it with you all as well.

There will be fifty chapters (because I’m pretty sure every Star Wars movie has at least fifty chapters) and I will release a chapter every day. Of course, while most of the story will be original I will include some things that I really enjoyed from The Last Jedi into the chapters because of some of the things Rian created for the movie was too brilliant not to incorporate.

And so yeah, I’ll release the opening crawl tomorrow and I hope you’ll enjoy. It’s going to be fun hearing your thoughts along the way. I’m so excited!

I thank you for reading this announcement and I hope you have a lovely day. May the Force be with you.

Reviewing A Fantastic Year

2018 has been a fun year for me, from the exciting movies that I’ve watched to my wonderful twentieth birthday. This year has brought many new things and I’ve enjoyed every step of the way. So, since this is the last day of the year, I’m looking back on all of the exciting things that have happened. Enjoy!

(This will be a long read.)

January

This January it was announced that we would finally get a Black Widow movie which was such an exciting announcement. I’ve been waiting for this for years because she’s such an awesome character who rightly deserves her own film and so this was definitely one of the highlights for me.

February

When I went to see Black Panther I could only hope that it would turn out to be as amazing as everyone was saying that it was. Thankfully, it was pretty incredible. It was worthy of every bit of praise it was (and still is) getting. Wakanda Forever!

The Solo: A Star Wars Story Super Bowl trailer was off the chain. I still remember my utterly shocked reaction when I saw it for the first time. I had serious reservations about this film but after this trailer, nearly all of my worries were lifted.
