The Lord of the Rings is, in my opinion, the greatest fantasy novel ever made and the same can be said for the movies as well. People have tried to bring fantasy to life in the way that Peter Jackson did in the early 2000s’ but no one has reached the pinnacle of epicness that he did with those films. I’ve seen each movie combined at least three hundred times over the years, that’s how much I love them. Part of the reason why these characters are so amazing is because the characters are so ridiculously cool. So, on this week’s segment of Who’s Your Favorite I’m here to ask you which of these awesome characters is your favorite? Here they all are.
Wow, this week has gone by fast and that only means it’s time for another segment of Who’s Your Favorite? And this week it’s a fun topic in the form of Star Wars bands. Star Wars bands aren’t popular to a casual Star Wars viewer but to us fans the bands are some of the coolest characters to appear in the franchise. They provide galactic beats that are either hilarious, iconic, or downright cool. And that’s why I’m here to ask which Star Wars bands happens to be your favorite? Here they are.
Marvel has introduced over two dozen fascinating and fabulous superheroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some of the most memorable of these wonderful characters have been, undoubtedly, the Guardians of the Galaxy. While they are clearly a bunch of misfits they have grabbed the hearts of Marvel fans and casual moviegoers around the world with their uncanny heroism. But which of these lovable scoundrels is your favorite? That’s what I’m here to ask you on this week’s segment of Who’s Your Favorite? Here are the characters.
Groot is practically the Chewbacca of the MCU. He’s big and represents the brute strength of the Guardiab, he speaks a foreign language in the form of “I am Groot” which we, as moviegoers, can’t understand, and he’s awfully sweet and kind (at least every version of Groot except the teenage Groot.) Groot is one of the coolest, most original characters I have ever seen in a movie and that’s why he’s so awesome.
Another glorious week has passed and it has definitely been an exciting week for Star Wars fans. The Clone Wars cartoon was announced to be getting a final season which will debut on Disney’s new streaming service and the official cast announcement for Episode IX was released on Friday. So, in the spirit of Star Wars, this week’s segment is focused on, well, Star Wars characters of the current trilogy. Who’s your favorite of the new troupe? Here are the characters.
Until Finn there had never been a story about a stormtrooper-turned-rebel fighter and that’s why Finn is so great. He’s a special man and on top of that he is as heroic as they come. He didn’t have to turn against the First Order but he did because he knew the First Order was wrong in what they were doing. He didn’t have to save Poe but he did (mainly because he needed a pilot’s help.) He didn’t have to save Rey from getting killed by the stormtroopers on Jakku but he did because he’s a good man.
I could keep going on and on about his heroics but you get the point. All of the heroic things he did he didn’t have to do. He could’ve remained a mindless stormtrooper who does what he’s told despite the obvious fact that he would be doing wrong or he could make a difference and defy those who wanted him to kill innocents without mercy. I’m glad he took the latter. (Finn’s great.) 🙂
Ant-Man and the Wasp is the latest superhero movie to arrive in theaters and with Marvel releasing a new tag team duo with Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp what is there not to love? But which of the two heroes may be your favorite? Well, that’s what I’m here to ask you all on this week’s segment of Who’s Your Favorite? Enjoy.
Ant-Man is awesome because he’s a regular dude who just so happened to become Ant-Man and it’s truly what makes him so lovable. He’s all of us and so when he does things like becomes Giant-Man or helps save the world he doesn’t handle it in a way that maybe Captain America would. He’s just as shocked at his abilities as we are and that’s why he’s such a fantastic hero.
We have seen his ups and downs (literally) but he has managed to prevail over every obstacle because he is a hero worthy of being an Avenger. And he’s hilarious too. I’m a definite Ant-Man fan. 🙂
Princess/General Leia and Rey are two of the most important heroines in cinema history. Each character was a groundbreaking development for the portrayal of women in Star Wars and have paved their own legacies through this wonderful franchise. Now as one character’s story continues and another’s has fallen their inspiring paths are all the more brilliant to observe, especially when the two strong women are in the same presence as one another. But of the two who is the greater heroine?
Each of these characters has inspired girls and women around the globe by showing how powerful a woman can be through young and old age. It seems unthinkable to distinguish one above the other but they do have their differences. Their strengths and weaknesses are the things that we individually identify with the most. So, on this segment of Who’s Your Favorite, I am celebrating the heroines that have brought much happiness to so many people around the world. Enjoy!
Marvel has over two dozen superheroes in their reservoir now but remember the time when there only a select few heroes to get excited about? Iron Man was the first hero to be introduced in this franchise, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Captain America was the sixth hero to make his debut. Together they have gone on incredible adventures, saved the world a handful of times, and they have even fought each other when things went sour. Basically they’ve been through a lot. After ten years and ten combined movies Iron Man and Captain America seem to be the elders of the franchise as new faces and heroes make their own first appearances. So today, on this weekly segment of Who’s Your Favorite I’m asking you which of these ridiculously cool characters is your favorite? Here they are.
