2019 Is Going To Be a Great Year for Disney

Disney has always contributed a huge chunk to the year’s box-office numbers but next year very well may be the company’s greatest year at the box-office, as some of its most-anticipated films are coming out next year. Of course, this year for Disney is nowhere close to over box-office wise with Ralph Breaks the Internet coming out next week and Mary Poppins Returns finishing out the year. But, as 2018 comes closer and closer to an end, let’s look at some of the Disney movies coming out next year that we can start getting excited for.

Captain Marvel

January and February may be devoid of any highly-anticipated Disney films but March will change that as it debuts one of the most looked forward to movies of next year; Captain Marvel. This film is exciting for several reasons. One; it’s the first female-led Marvel movie in the MCU. Two; it’s a movie focused on one of Marvel’s most prominent superheroes. And three; it’s the last piece of the puzzle that’s leading us to the events of Avengers 4. Who couldn’t be more excited?

Captain Marvel is set to be released for March 8, 2019.

‘Aladdin’ Dazzles With This First Teaser

A teaser poster for the highly-anticipated live-action Aladdin set to come out next May debuted a couple of days ago and last night, during the Thursday Night Football game, the teaser for the film premiered. Here it is.

Um…chills. Aladdin is hands down my favorite classic Disney film next to The Lion King and so seeing it brought to life on the big screen is utterly magical. I loved the music, I loved the sheer beauty of the world I remember seeing over and over again as a child, and the rumbling voice of the entrance (I forgot what it’s called) sounded AMAZING!

They definitely provided us just a tease of what’s to come but I can’t wait to see this movie. I think it’s going to be perfectly magical, as it should be.

What did you think about this teaser? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. I thank you for reading and I hope you have a magical day.

The First Teaser Poster for the Live-Action ‘Aladdin’ Movie Is Here

If you love Disney movies then I’m sure you’ve seen Aladdin potentially a few times. I’ve only seen it once but I used to read the novelization of it and listen to the songs all the time and it quickly became one of my favorite Disney films of all time. When they announced they were going to make a live-action of the movie I got SOOO excited. Beauty and the Beast was pretty fantastic, considering the classic version it had to go up against, and I am beyond excited to see this magical story brought to the big screen.

And, if this wasn’t exciting enough, the teaser trailer is set to come out tomorrow! Ahh! This is awesome. I can’t wait to see it!

My Favorite Disney Songs

One of the reasons why I love animated Disney movies so much are the classic songs that fill you with happiness and cover your arms in goosebumps. Those songs are what make movies like The Little Mermaid and Aladdin so incredibly memorable and enjoyable. Without these glorious songs I don’t think those movies would be quite as magical as they are still to this day. So, since I was thinking about Disney songs today, I’m going to share with you the ballads that make me the happiest and urge me to sing along. Enjoy!

“Under the Sea”

Who doesn’t love “Under the Sea?” I have never seen The Little Mermaid and yet this song is so amazing and fun to sing that I know it almost entirely by heart. Especially the last section of the song. It’s absolutely brilliant and it reminds me every time I hear it why I love Disney so much.

“When You Wish Upon A Star”

This just might be the one of the most beautiful Disney songs ever created, for its inspiring lyrics and melodic tone is legitimately lovely. This is definitely one of my favorite Disney songs.
